Midwest Wire Group is a growing manufacturer of wire products serving multiple industries. We are seeking a driven Operations Manager to lead day-to-day plant operations and play a key role in scaling our production, warehouse and logistics functions.

This role is well-suited for a hands-on leader who enjoys improving flow, clarifying priorities and helping people succeed without layers of bureaucracy.

Leadership, Management & Communication

• Lead, mentor, and develop production, warehouse, and shipping/receiving teams.
• Set clear expectations, communicate priorities, and hold teams accountable.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Production

• Manage production employees, equipment, processes and daily/weekly production schedules.
• Coordinate resources to meet production goals, quality standards, and delivery commitments.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and uptime.

Warehouse

• Oversee warehouse employees, raw material and finished good inventory levels & forecasting.
• Manage the inventory process and organization to ensure timely and accurate shipments.

Shipping & Receiving

• Manage shipping and receiving employees and daily operations.
• Create and oversee shipping documentation and paperwork to support customer ship dates.
• Manage freight carriers, coordinate and execute all aspects of shipping.
